The new $US330 SD980 has a 3-inch touch screen LCD and ultra-wide 24mm with lens 5x optical zoom, while the $US300 SD940 has a 2.7-inch LCD and 4x optical zoom. Both 12.1-megapixel compact shooters record 720p video and have HDMI.

The SD940 specs in the gray box are not correct.
The SD940 does not have these features: 3.0 inch touch screen, 5x 24mm lens.
The SD940 has a 2.7 inch screen and a 4x 28mm lens. The screen is not a touch screen.
