Mininova Ordered To Remove The Only Torrents People Use
Hugely popular torrent indexer Mininova has been slapped with a debilitating ruling, in the Netherlands: Within the next three months, the site has to remove all links to infringing torrents, after which it’ll be fined 1000 Euros for each one. This means that Mininova will either a) become the premier torrent indexer for Linux ISOs and public domain FLAC music, or b) die.*
With two major torrent sites all but snuffed out in the last few weeks, there are only a few decent alternatives left. Although if you’re of a hardier type, there’s always Usenet. [Torrentfreak]
*Spoiler: It’s B.

I’m about to cry
I know, this is freaking terrible!
Considering how shit Aussie network tv is, finding good shows is just going to be impossible after the minor torrent providers get whooped.
Not only that, but some music is just hard to find, and previews can be extremely deceptive at times.
Also, I torrented a copy of a certain comic book series which i’ve heard is nigh impossible to find a hard copy that at low cost and copies of other comics. And another thing to do with comics, I’m unsure on the costs of actually finding them, since major bookstores would most likely special order them.
This is not going to be good.
So am I……
you know what i think? who cares. stupid stealing and support the people who make all the good games, movies, music, etc.
good, they have it coming for featuring torrents above others.
they should have been more like btmon. and now, all power will go to them and to thepiratebay.
SUCKS TO BE YOU MININOVA!! LOL!!!
