Hey Microsoft, We Still Want Zune For The Mac

We’ve been asking for Zune on the Mac since 2006, the original release of the original Zune. In fact, it’s almost a yearly thing that we keep reminding that we want Zune Plus and the other Zune features on Macs.

GDGT picks up the thread by bugging Microsoft yet again, laying out why Zune HD is going to be in demand for Mac users. So please, let’s do it. We’ll buy your Zune HDs if you bring Mac support.

If you go ahead and make a Zune phone, we’ll go and buy that even faster. [GDGT]

    Bugger the mac, I’ve never seen anyone use one. What I want is the zune to be released AT ALL, in my country. So how about it, MS, can we get some Zune love in Australia?

    +1 for ZuneHD in Australia. Sure I won’t be able to use the Digital Radio but who wants to listen to crap Radio in Aus anyway.

    Why would Microsoft release Zune for Mac when Macs account for a very small portion of the market? Add to that the fact that most Mac users (at least the vocal ones) will not buy anything that isn’t made by Apple.

    Zune is aimed at music lovers and gadget lovers, neither of which fits with the Apple demographic of non-technically minded hipsters.

    …damnit, I keep thinking of new comments. Can’t Mac and Linux users use Parallel to sync their Zune within a Windows environment?

    There are some serious misconceptions about Mac users in the comments here. A large portion of the Mac user base is very technically-minded, and would gladly buy a Zune if it was a quality product (which the Zune HD looks to be) and supported by their OS.

    To say that “music lover” and “gadget lover” aren’t appropriate demographic descriptions for many Mac users is even more outlandish.
