See? We’re not Apple fanboys. We show off all operating systems’ failings here at Gizmodo. It’s not our fault we see one type more than the other. Or that saying “Blue Screen of Death” is just so damned catchy…
[Thanks Matt!]

Friday, August 28, 2009 at 11:35 AMYes the “Descending Fog Of Doom” is good, DFOD for short?
It’s funny that even on the mac “death” it tells you how to fix the problem, “hold down the power button..”.
Not on windows (unless it’s changed since I last saw one), you see code and stuff and have figure yourself.

Friday, August 28, 2009 at 11:31 AMlol, well I think there is one thing that Mac and PC fanboys can agree on: the people who manage these promotional signs are worryingly n00b. contrary to popular belief, computers don’t crash “just because”. for instance I have a bargain basement 2 yearold PC that is on 24/7 running bittorent and file server stuff, no virus scanner or firewall. been up around 35 days now without so much as a restart. (have to turn it off from time to time to rearrange power cords).
