This is the cover of the latest Borders catalogue. Obviously Borders don’t actually understand that once you invest in a universal remote, you don’t actually need to keep your five other remotes on the couch next to you while you watch TV.
The catalog did get one thing right though: A universal remote would make a great father’s day present…

Friday, August 28, 2009 at 2:14 PMbOBby, I used to think so too before I got a Harmony … the ‘universal’ remotes of old (still found in supermarkets & ‘clints’) were/are crap.
The Harmony does take a while to setup (good geeky fun!), but has a ‘help’ function that has got my wife & mother-in-law using it!
But, I’m not getting paid by logitech, so if you don’t try one, your loss … :)
