Amazon Germany Lists 250GB Xbox 360 Elite Package

Amazon, who’s previously listed/leaked the PS3 Slim before its announcement, has listed a mysterious 250GB Xbox 360 Elite on their German site, packaged with Forza Motorsport 3 for EUR 280 (about $US400).

The new Xbox 360 lineup is starting to solidify: We’ve got the $250 Xbox 360 Pro, the $300 120GB Elite, and now a 250GB version (Xbox 360 Even More Elite?) that may retail for $US350 by itself. 250GB is more than twice the PS3 Slim’s 120GB capacity, although what that extra space would be used for is anyone’s guess. My guess would be a PVR, and that would certainly be welcome…

good to see, and good to see that the premium for the bigger drive is reasonable (only 30 euros?)

this really does compete with the ps3′s ‘get what ever drive you wan’t from anywhere’ benefit.

Pfft, just two days ago replaced the hard drive in my 40gb PS3 with a 250GB one, and it didn’t cost me more than $100 to do it. I’m good.
