The article means the real chopper is 16.75m according to Wikipedia it's 17.5m (57Ft).

So if the model is 1/8th scale would place the model at 2.09m which looks about right

quite an amazing machine. first thing i noticed was the sound. im sure that it is powered by a gas turbine engine, just like the real helicopter would be.

also, listen to the thumping sound of the blades, most RC heli's dont make that noise. the real ones do and i think its because the tips are going supersonic.

come, 16 meters, if it is then its longer than a regular helicopter that people pilot. looks closer to about 3 meters in the video!!!!

on top of that it looks like it might be based on this http://www.bergenrc.com/Turbine.php
