@yeti: not very well... only uses one of our frequencies.. unless when they say triband, they're counting their 2100 hsdpa as the third band... than no, it wouldn't.

Nokia is safe as long as every other phone maker thinks the standard number keypad and a lack of 10 square inches of touch screen are a mistake. We need more phones like this. I love my 5500.

I'll buy any phone that can withstand my constant dropping it. Currently have a functional, very chipped, scratched and cracked Nokia 6101.

That's the kind of phone I need. I've got butter fingers that leave screens cracked when the phone falls and a dog who likes to play "Oh look what I have!" as he chomps away. Eyeglasses, phones, other dainty things...
