Lots of things piss me off about netbooks. Things like the cramped trackpad, the lack of USB ports and the occasionally shoddy cases, to name a few. Targus has come up with a netbook accessory kit which tries to fix all these shortcomings.
The kit, which includes a netbook carry case capable of holding a 10.2-inch computer, a USB mouse and a four-port USB hub, will be available through JB Hifi stores for just $55 from today. While it does nothing to solve my other problem with netbooks – their purposefully underwhelming processor – it’s a pretty solid option to make up for many netbooks’ shortcomings.

I bought a small netbook toolkit (a Road Warrior kit!) about 8 months ago from Zazz, which has a mouse, hub, 5-in-1 USB connector (mini-USB, type A, type B, etc), numpad and extendable ethernet cable for significantly cheaper than the Targus one. Mind, the build quality is noticeably shonky, I had to solder the wires on the mouse just to make it useable, but this just seems like a shameless way to rip people off.
