SurfaceTwitter Is Like TweetDeck On Multitouch Steroids
Holy crap: a multitouch Twitter app for Surface. The capabilities are a little basic now—only 25 recent tweets are shown in ScatterView, where you can manipulate them—but thinking about the possibilities explode my brain. [Microsoft via Microsoft Gartenberg

@berbar:
I think the proper term for that is "twit".
Sounds right to me, anyway...

Oh yeah, *that* looks usable. :D Could make for a decent visualizer (ala Digg Labs stuff).
You really are a Twitterholic.
I'd sure as hell pay the obscene price of a Surface setup just to tweet...

I can't imagine many people preferring to use Twitter this way. The word is timeline. Not Timepileofwords.
FAIL!
Twitter? Tweet? Tweets? Two too many twists on "to tweet" can tie the tongue of any talker.
Aunt_Snowman
What's the point of this? Where's the timeline? This jut causes chaos. o.O

will surface apps run on any win 7 computer with the touch pack? otherwise i dont see this getting much use...
I wouldn't even use that to show off what my computer can do. I think it would even piss off a disorganized person.

I suppose if I liked the idea of Twitter I might be excited about the possibility of my display being filled up with a random and disorganized mess of twits...? Nah, pretty sure I would still rather have them organized. That just looks like a cluttered useless mess.

Wow, that is really cool. I can't wait for the surface, or something similar to be affordable for normal folks.

I'm annoyed just looking at that picture. Argh, can someone straighten those out please? Throw them in a grid. Something.
Aahh! Mah hed asplode!
seriously, why would anyone want anything scattered around in a mess? how does that make anything better? Just a fricken gimmick.
