As far as concepts go, Jason Battersby’s Project Nomad is pretty out there. It’s a series of rideable robo-vehicles that look like animals, getting their energy from plants. Yeah, let us know when these become feasible, Jason. [Coroflot via BBG]
Looks like a descendant of Bigdog. All you’d need is a compact method of turning vegetable matter into ethanol/methanol for your fuel cell and you’d be right.
Really Adam, did you need to be so snarky? It’s a neat design concept and was probably never meant to be actually built. Try not to take it out on other people next time your boyfriend steals your handbag.
man that thing looks awesome!
Imagine been on one of them, chasing a pack of roos through the open outback. Set it to auto track and set yours scope on head-mode.
That would be some fun hunting!!
