Panasonic Launch Budget Noise Cancelling Headphones
Travelling without noise cancelling headphones is nigh on criminal for a gadget fan. Fortunately, Panny’s new HC101’s bring the benefit of noise cancellation to a relatively cheap pricetag.
For $169, you get a pair of ‘phones that will reduce noise by up to 83%, with a flat, folding design. Truth be told, the design isn’t anything overly exciting, but at that price, what do you expect?
Painfully, the battery power is in-line, rather than in the actual headphones themselves, but that fact is compensated for by the fact that there’s a mute switch which lets you silence your music so you can hear the air hostess flirt with you (or tell you to fasten your seatbelt). At 58 grams, it’s also super light for your hand luggage.
