Pac Man Stapler Really Should Be Yellow

@Skeetz: Maybe... but I am sure that whatever the licensing fee is, it is WAY more than this "made in Thailand" product is willing to pay and still stay within their cost structure. hahaha. That's if Namco Bandai would even give it. Don't forget they still actively sell Pacman products and those products are a big draw at the Cons:

Did they really copyright the color instead of the image of pacman? Or it must be the combo of the 2, if ya put them together, well, lets say if you do, expect mighty morphin power rangers of the beatyouup kind to pay a visit from Bandai HQ!
I actually like it better black! It looks more "officey" as well.

Something about Pacman with teeth strikes me as particularly sinister. The black paint job isn't really helping either.
@LegallyBored in NYC: I was thinking the same thing. Geeks demand accuracy in their movie/game figurines and these guys missed the mark.. just checked their site and you can get it in white (ugh).. Licensing for this couldn't cost that much. The franchise itself isn't exactly pumping out much more than cell phone re-hashes.

If it was yellow, I would probably buy it as a quirky work-desk accessory.
Although, if it was yellow, THEY would probably have a copyright infringement cease and desist letter from Namco-Bandai as their desk accessory.
It looks like a fun thing to have on your desk, but, I think its impractical size and shape would negate it to nothing but a toy. It looks as it it would easily roll or fall over and isnt very ergonomically shaped for the hand. Cute but not practical.
@92BuickLeSabre: Yeah, and everyone knows a staple won't kill a ghost! It will just staple right through them. They have to be swallowed! When they are blue. Moral of the story: this stapler will only staple blue pieces of paper and no other colors.

This seems inherently counter-productive.
I would say just slap on some yellow paint or something, depending on what material the stapler is encased in.
That, or it can be Emo Pac-Man.
Looks like a hockey puck to me. That's the only reason I would want one.
