The only reason people would buy this thing is if they aren't already aware of how cheap flashcarts are already. I only paid $30 total for my DSi's flashcart and micro SD card combined.

@craig_16: It's weird. I think R4s and PSP modding has made me ADD, I can't finish a game anymore... (Last games I finished were Disgaea, Galaxy, and TWEWY)

@craig_16: Oddly enough - pirating makes me feel bad, so if the game is good I end up buying it and often give them as gifts. Which I guess is still wrong if you think about it.

Speaking of flashcarts, in my experience, once a person hears about them they never buy another DS game. They normally say something like "So I can have as many games as I want, on one cart, for the price of 2 games? Where can I get one from.
Of course there are people of a higher moral order, but clearly my DS owning friends don't fall into that category. I guess that's why the price of the DS Lite hasn't ever really dropped.

@an not so happy skyline: Good DS Games are usually remakes of older games...see Chrono Trigger and FF4.

Also, like many, I'd rather have a flash cart, it works a _little_ better.

For all 3 of my R4s! That's convenience.

or you could buy a flashcart and store a lot more than 3 games on the unit w/o the honking thing on the top

i agree with everyone else on the flashcart front...way better for a little more money. i had about 20 DS games before i got an R4 so i don't feel guilty at all for using one. now my mother, sister, and brother-in-law share my actual games and i take advantage of my 75-game rom catalog.

@Kris Aubuchon: Well considering all ds games lately have been shit, i dont even waste my time downloading roms. I will say this though. i will buy the gold and silver remakes.

I can see this being useful. I don't have the time or the money for a flash cart, and of the 10 games I have, only 4 are any good. And as for size, it looks fairly small, and like it would still fit in my ds case. As for sleek, I don't really care. As long as I can play games and fit it inside my case, I'm happy. True, you can get more by pirating, but I ruined one computer that way already.
