Nikon D300s DSLR In The Flesh, Apparently

Looks a real live D300s to me. The Nikon leaks are speeding up, so I’m thinking we’ll see this get official in August. You know, if it’s real. More shots here: [Nikon Rumors]

    @allenklosowski: agreed

    @nikkor:

    D300 and future D400 would be DX.

    D700 and future D800 would be FX.

  • allenklosowski

    That looks fake fake fake. Look at the D300 logo and the way it wrapps, and the funky curves. The build quality is less than par too. I call BS.

    @Geisrud: sure it can, that little "s" would take about two minutes in PS, but with all the buzz, I'm sure it's the real deal...

    If they added the screen of the D5000 to this, I'd sell my other two cameras to get it... But none of the other features are enough to make me jump on it...

    @bosskev: well, there's that. But I don't know squat about cameras.

  • sharkync

    According to dpreview and nikon rumors - this looks like the real deal.

    @Geisrud: Another reason it can't be a rumor - too dull of an upgrade.

  • Geisrud

    This can't be a rumor - the image is too clear.

  • nikkor

    Full-frame? Sub $2000? Hopefully? Nvm.. from Nikon Rumors specs it looks to be a DX frame size. Sigh. The D400 should be full-frame...

  • Digital9

    The image is so hyper-real that it looks fake.

    @nikkor: No full frame. You would see a little logo like the D700 and D3

  • Mike

    @bosskev: There might be internal upgrades, faster frame rates, better metering, super autofocus, cheese grater.

  • Mike

    @riguitargod: No, the D5000 screen isn't that good. It has a lower resolution and a smaller size. You won't use the pull out screen often, trust me.

  • Mike

    Don't you mean in the FLASH? Ha ha haha. I'm sorry.
