I've got one of these next to my 1900x1200 24" display and it complements it nicely. I usually have it showing my sidebar apps from Vista so I can check on stuff while gaming. Can run the steam client on it and it fits IM Clients nicely as well.

There's a bit of a flicker to it with some apps open, but it looks good and I've had no system performance issues with it installed (I play a fair amount of PC games with no performance issues).

@tok3ninja: It's import markup, taxes, etc. I was in S. Korea last month, and these things (er, the Samsung equivalent) is just under $70.

@tok3ninja: When you go small, you pay big :) Smaller components are more expensive to manufacture, and in the case of LCD screens, that's the case when you get a high resolution, which this is (for its size)

Now saying that I have two 21" monitors, and two 30" monitors on my main machine, now that would be bragging. LOL

@MyNameIsTooAwesome: Other than the fact they've got two of this item on the desktop (and I don't know for sure what that is to the right) that's nothing special. I use 2 24" Samsungs and I have a 42" LG LCD right next to them. Comes in handy for video editing and working in Photoshop and Motion at the same time.

@fishous: There's supposed to be a touchscreen version available at some point...but not at $130.00. I think it was supposed to run $200.00. Still kinda high, but I might consider one for my HTPC.

I believ that there is a Touch-screen version of this as well. Could be veeeery handy for shortcutting around.

@MyNameIsTooAwesome: That setup isn't anything to brag about. Looks like an evolution to me (new screens over time).

Mine would be worse, but the CRTs live under the stairs in the basement now days collecting dust :P

Very handy though for laptops I'm sure.

This would be really cool if it were touchscreen. Put one right above the keyboard and put either shortcuts on it, music player, or application toolbars.

But for a desktop, I'll stick with my 4 monitors. For the money, it's not a desktop deal without touchscreen capabilities.

Anyone know if there is something similarly sized, but with a DVI interface? I want to use with my music Mac mini instead of my carbon-spewing plasma.

These are expensive, but they're nice - pretty solid build and crisp image. For me A third monitor would be overkill - and this thing is powered by USB so I don't have to worry about another monitor sucking up my power like another monitor would.

If I want to monitor a feed or torrents I can shut off my other monitors and keep this thing on. So while it's expensive it'll probably save me a handful of cash anyway.

Don't buy one if you're using Windows 7 just yet - they don't have an updated driver (but they will)

I'd like one to complement my laptop's display while programming (a secondary monitor is extremely useful when coding) without needing to pull out and rig up my big 17" LCD which is just overkill 90% of the time.

I got myself the U-70 (Samsung's equivalent) and unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a driver that works on windows 7 RC, so now it's just sitting on my desk until a) A new driver is out b) I revert back to XP (lol nothx I <3 7)

if this uses the same set of drivers as the USB to DVI adaptor that EVGA makes (and from the screenshots, it looks like it does), then it will bring your doom if you use your machine for games.
