Whatever you nerds... the only women who dont wear makeup are the ones that makeup CANT help.

@Alf Shot The FUD: Amen. Let's hose off and paint the stinky hippies.
@Maximillian: True, and lets also remember that if you're going to be taped, the camera and lighting are going to take their toll... ask any theater major, news anchor, or anyone else who's been in movies/tv/etc.

man, most of y'all obviously not professional photographers, models or makeup artists. High-Def video really does call for better quality makeup and application skill. both MAC and Makeup Forever have makeup lines targeted for High-Def production as well.

@Alf Shot The FUD: Something tells me you made a tagging mistake and that 'shot' was directed at me instead of Maximillian. Say it ain't so.
@tylerstyle: Truly spoken like a boy who has never been with a woman or understands the purpose of makeup. You also sound like someone who doesn't bathe either because, "why should I let the herds of society dictate how I live my life?"

with digital and photoshop technology, cosmetic ads are a joke. pure fiction. any makeup they may be wearing gets blown out by post-production anyways.
@Maximillian: I'd agree. I've talked to some chicks and admired the fact that they wear no makeup only to have them tell me that they are, in fact, wearing makeup. I just thought they were naturally beautiful. They just apply so little of it so well that I honestly can't even tell. So you must be right.
@tylerstyle: If you can tell that they're wearing makeup, then they're doing it wrong.
Most women use makeup and if done properly, you can't tell. The idea is to make it look 'natural' and not use it to excess.
Here's how I see this dumb-ass marketing ploy:
You can't beat the high definition of real life and what people see in reality, so the make-up that is supposed to do the trick in real life should be sufficient for being in HD video. If HD video is miraculously jhigher definition than what we see in real life, we can't see that kind of definition on the screen anyway.
BS, waste of money, and I third the sentiments of Krypton and Tyler...

@tylerstyle: For sharing my sentiment even before I voiced it, you get a star.
lol, no, but I totally feel ya man. I despise that shit. Naturally beautiful women FTW. I find nothing funnier than the ones who can paint all that shit on and still somehow believe they are attractive. Yea. You're as attractive as a clown. Great job. If you're not naturally beautiful, get yo game together. Bottom line. If you don't have any game, THEN you're fucked overall, and I'm sorry about that. Makeup is tantamount to breast implants or ass implants. It's fake. Fake sucks.
I'm perfectly fine with getting SD makeup for my girlfriend. She can upconvert.

@TheSonOfKrypton: My thoughts exactly. I don't like women, who paint themselves daily. I never did, no matter how wrinkly, or "ugly". I think of it as personality. Women, who put on makeup every day have no self esteem and are not in the least interesting to me.
Legal-wise, they can get away with this? Doesn't Sony have some say about it? Blu_Ray versus Blu-Ray, and talk of high definition? When I saw the headline, I thought it might be an instructional Blu-Ray disc on how to get the most out of make-up, and thought it'd be a nice gift for my wife and/or my sisters. Talk about confusing!
Ugh....makeup. The bane of female society. This is the kind of shit that makes me thank God I'm a man. I mean, could you IMAGINE doing this shit? Getting up every morning and LITERALLY painting on a persona?
Nice grab of what is probably BS marketing.

Anyone notice how much makeup you could see on Johnny Depp's face in Public Enemies?
Someone told me they were certain it was because it was shot on video, but I don't think I can put the blame on that.
I gotta say, the makeup artists just have to learn not to cake it on, or the talent has to learn not to sweat.
