LG Thinks Their Phones Are For Muppets
LG probably didn’t mean to call their customers Muppets with their ad for the GM730 smartphone. In fact, they almost certainly meant to imply that their new phone is so easy to use, even a puppet can manage it. But for some reason, it’s the idea that people who buy this phone are Muppets that sticks in my mind.
There are a couple more of the ads featuring the Muppets, including an outtakes clip, which only reinforces my initial impressions. And if anyone can explain to me the relevance of the chicken clip, I’m happy to listen.
