Jabra Go 6400, Pro 9400 Bluetooth Headphones Have A Touchscreen Base Dock
The two Jabra Go 6400 and Pro 9400 Bluetooth headsets are kinda neat, combining a charging dock for convenience with a touchcreen for showmanship.
The 6400 has a standard Bluetooth range and looks exactly like a Bluetooth headset from Jabra, whereas the 9400 looks like a receptionist’s headset that you can take around your house at up to a 450-foot range.
They both have dual-microphones for noise cancelation and both have the touchscreen to quickly switch between a mobile phone, VoIP or landline connections. Both will be available later in the year for $US200 each. [Slashgear]

Who still has a land line? I have not had a land line in my last two homes for over 5 years now. Why do companies continue to develop technology for land lines? Much like the Verizon home station, this would have been nice 10 years ago.

@The Brain: that's what I was thinking 360 and PS3 support and Blowsers, we have a winner!
@scoobydoo: For almost $100 less, though.
I run a small office and am in need of something like this, so I think that come September, I will start a serious evaluation to see which better suits my needs.

@Shandog: I liked the plantronics voyager 855...also is a BT headset and converts from stereo to mono and back again, really nice design...will work with your phone too.

@scoobydoo:
That's what I was thinking. The design, although not the function, also reminds me of plantronics' Savi office

anyone know any good stereo A2DP's I can use with my 3.0 ipod touch?
@balls187: You sir, are an idiot.
So lets take compressed Mp3's and compress the audio via A2DP.
For $200.
Crapgadget.
@tensai: Because SDP is the standard phones use for voice, not A2DP. A2DP is too high bandwidth and sucks more power to encode and transmit than SDP.

Looks like someone took a look at the Plantronics Calisto Pro and made it look prettier.
scoobydoo
That's a little too much.

why isint there a headset that uses A2DP sound quality for incomming calls, while letting us use the mic.
