2TB Time Capsule Arrives For $500, 1TB Drops To $299

Apple has just announced a new, 2TB Time Capsule that’s available today for $US500 (the former price of the 1TB). So the 1TB drops to $US299 (the former price of the 500GB). [Apple]

mind you, single 2tb drives are still $350 street here, and if it is the server grade one like they say it is, that would probably be around $500 street just for the drive, so this isn’t a bad price. especially if you also add the wireless n, and print server.
the biggest problem would be that there is no RAID, server drives are good but it will still inevitably fail, so you would have to make sure the files were on some other drive as well.
