Here’s another reason not to queue up to buy an iPhone 3GS this weekend (aside from, you know, the fact that you’re queuing up for a phone): We’re giving away five of them – plus five BlackBerry Curves – courtesy of the kind folks at iWorld Australia.
Entering is easier than using the iPhone itself – just click this link and check the boxes that interest you. You’ve got until the end of July to get your entry in, but why wait? This is the kind of comp that Apple fanboys’ dreams are made of.

This is old news? How come this is being reposted? How much is iWorld paying? I hate it when blogs like this sell out!

It’s being reposted because the competition runs until the end of July, and not everyone got to see it the first time. It’s the same reason we repost reminders on ALL our competitions.
Considering iWorld are being kind enough to give away 10 phones to Gizmodo readers, I’d say reposting the comp details once a week is the least we can do.

I mentioned this in the last post, but I think it’s worth commenting on again. This competition is a ploy to get your email/phone number. If you give them your details expect to receive spam. Its mentioned in the TOS (http://gizmodo.iworldaustralia.com.au/termsconditions.html).
It’s fair enough that you guys want to post this stuff, but I think it’s a little shady not to present it for what it is.

To be honest i don’t think that justified it because all the loyal giz fans watch the RSS everyday. Its a great deal and I’ve signed up for it but i did that a while ago. Also its a tech blog we need less of these news items and more information about products.
Don’t get me wrong I love this blog you guys rock!

Sorry to post after the last one wasn’t accepted. Would be nice to have “Reminder free iPhone” instead of the article cloned then.
Thanks
