How Far Do You Sit From Your HDTV?

The truth is that most of us are probably not getting the most out of our HDTV.

The resolution you see is determined not just by the screen, but by its size and how far you sit from it, as detailed using the Lechner Distance chart. For example, if you sit 3.5 metres away from your 1080p TV, it would have to measure 92-inches in order for you to see all the detail.

Later, you can use it to set the optimum viewing distance between your couch and TV. But first, tell us how you have your gear set up now.
