What’s Cooking for Apple WWDC ‘09
Apple’s WWDC 2009 is almost here. On the menu: Definitely Snow Leopard and a even-stronger-than-before focus on the iPhone OS, as the sessions schedule and the promotion materials show. What else? Here’s what I think is cooking.

better opengl (for the iphone) would be nice. more video mem (currently 24meg?) shaders would be nice but plz at least give us a stencil buffer. I also got this worrying feeling that the color internally is 16bit, hope not, but if it is, 24bit plz.
oh yeah, and put some real buttons on it, some bumpers on the side would be cool
The iPod, the main one, also came in silver. I hope to hell that Apple updates the design so the third version actually feels as nice and as premium a product as the original. The 3G version, with it’s cheap plastic back and wider border round the screen really does look cheap and nasty in comparison.
