    hmm, I had a look on youtube, all I could find was the LHC rap, a couple of serious videos and a bunch of “end of the world” paraphenalia.

    The hulu link would be nice, but doesn’t work in Oz of course :-\

    Apologies – I didn’t realise it was Hulu. Generally The Daily Show is just embedded from their site… I’ve fixed it now…

    While popularly described as a ‘Big Bang’ machine, Europe’s LHC actually recreates particle energies which are millions of times ‘cooler’ than the most interesting epoch of the Big Bang. In fact, events which are more energetic than those at the LHC happen in Earth’s upper atmosphere on a regular basis.
