Samsung’s latest 50-inch plasma isn’t just super thin. It uses 40% less energy than the previous generation and supports USB 2.0 devices.
Called the 850 PAVV, this 1080p “Finger Slim” plasma supports USB drives for DivX, photo and MP3 playback, all while managing to weight in at just 57 pounds…which is pretty light for such a huge plasma, putting it in the same weight class as similarly sized LCDs.
There’s no word on price or availability, but with the TV measuring a mere 2.9cm thick, it begs one bigger question still left unanswered: How skinny is that model if her hand can rest on the TV, flat? [Akihabara News]

Samsung proves that you don’t have to have fancy heels to look good. Natural-style (i.e. barefoot) can be just as hot. Um, nice TV though.
