This morning, police in Lancaster Pennsylvania showed off their brand new X26 Tasers to the public by electrocuting some unfortunate dude and posting the results online in an embarrassing frame-by-frame test.
So this is what Lancaster residents can expect should they find themselves on the wrong side of the law. Watch your back Amish folks! Hit the following link for the full slideshow. [WGAL via Fark]

Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 1:24 AMThese Taser “demonstrations” are always with a special “training” cartridge, and the wires are **taped** to the cop’s back. In the REAL WORLD Tasers are aimed at the chest, where two BARBS penetrate the skin by one to two inches. In fact, these are just BOGUS “propaganda” events, orchestrated in a way to may these lethal devices look benign.
They are NOT. Over 500 people world-wide have died shortly after or during a confrontation with a Taser.
Tasers KILL.

Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 6:58 AMMany times the probes are taped or clipped in TASER exposures while numerous exposures deploy the full TASER probes that embed in the skin. Real world TASER ECDs are aimed at the uppper torso AND the back in many cases. The statement made by “Unconvinced” is not accurate in terms of the bogus statements. TASER ECDs are not benign BUT they are the safer alternative unless Unconvinced can convince us that hitting someone with a baton is pain free and benign. How about fists and kicks? Or what about a canine attack. Unconvinced is convinced by speculation, conjecture and not the fact that there are more than 280 studies on ECDs, 14,200+ law enforcement agneices deploying TASER units AFTER testing and seeing first hand the dramatic results of reduced injuries to both officers and suspects… I’d go on about facts but I am convinced that Unconvinced will be unconvinced as he’s perhaps already made up his mind. Have you?
