Sometimes, what you read on the internet is true. Like now! Nikon’s D5000 is a 12.3MP DSLR that shoots 720p HD video using the D90’s sensor for $US850. Yep, the display is all swivel-y.

AU Pricing is in too: Body is $1499, Body + 18-55 VR lens is $1,699, Body + 18-55mm VR + 55-200mm VR lenses is $1,999.
