It’s hard to beat that new gadget smell, but there is nothing wrong with buying used and saving some cash when possible. So, my question is simple: have you ever bought a used gadget?
I have bought three used Apple Newtons 2100s, two used Apple Newton 2000s, two Apple eMates, one Apple Newton keyboard, two HP 340 Deskjets, one HP IRDA adapter for the Deskjets, and about four different leather cases for Newtons. Most are coming up to being over 10 years old. All have worked great and given years of reliable service. Retrocomputing rules especially when their design genius creates devices that enduring utility.
