    One thing the experts missed is the ability of a speaker to reproduce an impulse. If you listen to the sound of someone clapping in reality and then on a speaker then you notice something strange, the speaker doesn’t sound anything like real clapping. With the high end speakers it is “startling” because the time response is correct. All percussive sounds like triangle, drums, piano sound better with this kind of speaker. (The trick is brought off by means of time alignment of the drivers)
