Uh guys, I think the title is wrong. I think that’s supposed to say “Latest Star Trek Trailer Officially Sucked”

Because it fucking did. I swear, if there’s one thing they should’ve learnt from Nemesis, it’s that a wussy ugly faggot bad guy is a bad idea… and just because you got Eric Bana to play the faggot doesn’t make it any better.

That hardly constitutes as an argument. You haven’t seen much of the movie, therefore, how can you claim Eric Bana’s character Nero is wussy? This trailer is good, yes GOOD, if anything Paramount has learned a lot since Nemesis, getting a big name actor to play a major character is a GOOD thing, having a big budget is a good thing, getting a proper director is a good thing. This is gonna be a good movie and just because you dislike Erica Bana, doesn’t necessarily make the movie bad, nor casting him make the movie bad. It will most definitely be out there competing with the top Trek movies for no 1 place and be most definitely way better than Nemesis.

Well said Lord David, how the hell can Tranchera make this assumption? if he thinks it looks crap then fine, don’t go and see it. Long live Trek.

While Tranchera seems to be 14 with his offensive use of the F word, I do agree in principal about the use of clichés.

The special effects and cinematography look superb while the plot seems predictable and stale.

The blue eyed, blonde and handsome bad boy gets reformed into a hero who saves the day, calmly fights off an ugly and out of control effeminate baddy and then in the end gets a hot female to breed with.

What trailer are you lot watching? How was Bana effeminate in any way during his 10 seconds on screen? If anything, this is easily the most badass the man has ever appeared, and that’s including his CGI incarnation as the Hulk.

Oh goodie! Another insipid Star Trek movie! This time with a bunch of barely 20-somethings over-acting in front of blue screens to, another computer generated set of film noire scenes. I especially liked the plant of the latest iteration of Obiwan’s mentor role. There’s always one more way to ssqueeze money out of gamer geeks and 30 year old virgins.
