Rumour: AT&T Considering ‘Mobile Phone Trade-In Program’
If this rumour pans out, AT&T could soon offer disgruntled mobile phone users a “phone trade-in program,” good for a few bucks off a new phone, should you really hate the one you just bought.
However, according to the lads at BGR, the program has a few caveats worth taking a look at:
* The phone being traded in can’t be more than two years old and must be in fair shape
* The new phone will not have any subsidies applied to it, so basically whatever your trade-in covers will be your “savings”
* Trade-ins will be valued from $US50 to $US200
We assume there’ll be a no haggling policy, but that’d sure make mobile phone shopping a little more fun, no? [BGR]
