Only 40 White K-m Pentax DSLRs Coming To Australia

Gizmodo AU

If you’ve been holding out on your DSLR purchase in the hopes of picking up one of the white Pentax K-m cameras, things could be a little bit tough on you. Pentax have announced that they are only bringing 40 of the white models to Australia. The lightweight snapper will be available in twin-lens kit form for $1,599 from this month. Considering that the US version retails for just $US680 that may seem like a massive price increase, but once you factor in the exchange rate, GST and the fact that it’s going to be a limited edition in Australia, then the pricing isn’t so surprising at all.

Yep… they retail for $300 more than the standard version, and though it replaces the K200, it’s lower spec!
