New Perspective Table Makes You Think You Have Extremely Limited X-Ray Vision

The creator of this solid walnut table decided to paint a wireframe of its constructional elements right on it, so it looks see-thru—at least from certain angles. Move 10 degrees, and it just looks weird:


The artist, James Tooze, said he developed the table, titled “A New Perspective,” to encourage people to “be curious and question how things are made.” And here I thought he was doing it as a tribute to either Tron, or the last good Indiana Jones movie, or both. [Batchdesign via Core77]
