Acer is planning the release of an 11.6-inch Aspire One. It’s a lot like the 10-inch version, but it will feature the Atom Z530 processor (as opposed to the N270), which as my pea brain understands it, features identical clocks speed to the N270/280s but lower power consumption. The system also features a GMA500 graphics core to deal with HD content, full sized keyboard and a promised 4 to 8 (extended) hours of battery. There’s no word on price or availability. The title of this post could be an entry in our awesome competition to win a limited edition Resident Evil 5 Red Xbox 360 bundle (if it weren’t for those pesky terms and conditions that say I can’t enter). That’s because it’s a haiku, contains the words “red”, “xbox” and “zombies” (although “zombie” is allowed) and is generally just a fantastic example of poetry.
If you think you can do better (and you probably can), why don’t you click this link to the original competition post and have a crack at winning the awesome prize yourself? More »
