I had an AIBO, and it was the coolest damn thing ever. I’m not into robotics or high-tech hardware etc. etc. etc. – I was just curious about this so-called robot dog. So I got one, and I loved the damn thing. Responsive, playful, autonomous (meaning it could wander off and do fun things on its own, like a real dog), and loaded with personality. I sold it eventually, thinking it’d run out of tricks…and I’ve missed it ever since. I hate that Sony discontinued the AIBO. If it ever revives it, I’ll be first in line to buy it. Come on, Sony, reconsider!
