Lazy Susan Spins Food Around The Table Using Skateboard Trucks

This design for a lazy susan utilises skateboard trucks as the mechanism behind the rotation of the glass tabletop. It’s clever, but at $US1800 I’m thinking DIY project here. [Future Perfect via Boing Boing]

    I think that may require another glass ring or etched groove to cature the center of rotation… Otherwise that glass wont last very long!

    glass won’t fall off the table. If the wheels are new, there is enough friction against glass so to not slip. There would be marring on the underneath, tho, after a while. The wheels are not spinning in a straight line.
