DIY iPod Desktop Speakers Go Great With a MacBook
If you are an early adopter like myself, you have probably left a trail of iPods in your wake. This little DIY project is a great way to repurpose those obsolete players as desktop speakers.
All-in-all, the conversion cost around $US100, with most of the cost tied up in shipping. In the end, a little soldering, gluing and dremmeling resulted in some sweet looking speakers that would naturally go well with any Mac setup. Hit the link for complete instructions.
