Anyone dumb enough to be on Telstra would probably see that as a pretty sweet deal.
It could be to do with how the ticketing software works, perhaps a “shelf talker” as they’re called can’t be ordered unless a saving is attached?
I work at BigW, and there are soo many of these stupid specials where you save 1 cent.

There’s actually no 1¢ coin in Australia, so if you buy this with cash – it’s still going to cost $149!
I also work at Big W. Our store is really on top of things when it comes to ticketing… That’s what you get for being close to the head office.
