If your one dream in life was to read the teenage vampire novel Twilight on your iPhone and pay twice as much as normal, you can now die happy.
If you like cricket and are looking for a good way to waste a few hours this summer, Cricket Australia TV have just launched an official channel on YouTube. The channel promises behind the scenes interviews, match highlights and player interviews, although at the moment just seem to showcase a heap of cricket ads, which ironically I find infinitely more interesting than anything else they’re promising for the site. They’re also hoping for users to upload their own cricket clips to become part of the channel and in the future they want to add videos from their extensive archive as well.

The biggest flaw of touchscreen phones is that they’re even more dangerous (and annoying) to type on while driving than button-y phones. Textecution is a G1 app that won’t let you text, period, while driving.

Tipster Brian Houston over at Videosift.com received an email from Virgin’s Velocity rewards program with the above image attached. He reckons it’s hinting at the ability to redeem your Velocity frequent flyer points for a seat on their Virgin Galactic flights. I reckon he’s probably right. Obviously we’ll have to wait for February to come around before we know for certain, but if it is the case, expect to pay an absolute crapload of frequent flyer points for the privilege. In fact, if you don’t already fly Virgin everywhere, and have a Velocity rewards credit card for all your expenses, I’d say you probably won’t ever earn enough points to redeem a Galactic flight. In any case, we’ll see what Virgin have to say come February…

Behold, the new ePhone. An iPhone clone so perfect, so uncannily identical, so curvaceously exact, that it’s only one letter and a logo away from being the real McCoy. Until you turn it on.
