Virgin America Getting In-Flight Wi-Fi on November 22
Posted by Adam Frucci at 2:42 AM on November 7, 2008
At long last, Virgin America is finally bringing in-flight wireless internet access to its flights. On November 22, a beta flight above San Francisco will be the first to test the service, with it then rolling out to more flights after that at a rate of one per week. The plan is to have Wi-Fi available throughout the entire fleet by early next year, making it the first US carrier to do so. There's no word on whether or not the service will be filtered for porn. I fly the San Diego to San Francisco route and Virgin is awesome, I hope they make it past the financial crisis and expand their routes.

I <3 Virgin America, such a great airline!
My question is how do I disable the cellular network on my iphone so that I can just use wi-fi..?

@strider_mt2k:
Panasonic..not Philips..the eFX series to be specific. They already have those in all but 1 of their aircraft - it just doesn't work 1 out of 10 times is all!
