sometimes our PS2 is left on, because my parents don't know how to turn it off. They don't get that you're supposed to hold the button down until it turns red.
Wii is always on standby.

There's an option in setting to enable the xbox to keep running
if there's a download in progress...then it will turn off.

ie: you turn off the xbox when not using as per usual...it will
stay on but turn off when downloads completed.

just thought i'd mention this.

Wii – Always standby.

Xbox – I usually turn it off unless I’m gonna be coming back to it in about 10 minutes, or if I ‘m downloading something I’ll leave it on standby.
