Modded DS Light (With a 'G') Shames All Others on the Disco Floor

A Japanese DIY aficionado stripped open his DS and added about 200 pieces of LED flair. The Nico Douga commenter who, amidst the sea of wwwwwwwww, suggested pairing this with the Korg DS-10 (which is now available, by the way)--I'm feeling you on that. The action starts, appropriately, at 4:20. [Kotaku]

OMG i want something like that but in PSP form...

Bangin stop motion video and the final product looks cool, especially if your some raver or a low rider who has a bunch of neon blasting out your ride, but other than that and simply playing in the dark seems like a pain in the ass for some lights. Need to ditch the whole pink/purple though and WTF is up with all the damn text? And where is the Korg app, me no see it. Still I could'nt pull anything off like that.

I know a girl who used to have a cell phone that looked just like that. The lights flashed when she got a call...not sure why all that is necessary.

Oh sure, it looks like a bucket of cool but I bet it hurts his battery life. It's funny, but of all the crap he soldered in, I'd have thought that better speakers would have been first on the list.
