&lt;p&gt;Before we learn to speak properly we have perfect posture completely automatically. That is because natural posture is controlled by a very primitive part of the brain. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Posture correction gadgets like this one are flawed because postural muscles are not controlled by the conscious part of the brain.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Nice try, but to fix poor posture you need to address the root cause:- the average westerner spends around 75% of their waking lives sitting in a seat. &lt;/p&gt;
