New Google Chrome Beta Version Available (Kinda)

Google Chrome Beta version 0.3.154.9 isn’t due to drop for a few days, though it can be found over at FileHippo. No major features are introduced here—just security enhancements and bug fixes. But I know some of you love to have the latest and greatest. So enjoy. [FileHippo via Download Squad]

    I got it through Chrome’s check for updates that it does on the about page. Clearly it has been released already. :)

    I hesitate to use even upgraded versions of Chrome, since my last experience using it (first version) left my computer compromised; have they fixed the security issues beyond all doubt?
