Sometimes, the feeling of tearing open the package is more exhilarating than whatever's actually inside (unless it's one of those god-forsaken plastic clamshells that require you to mutilate it with a weapon of mass destruction, which is its own kind of rush). So the same people who gave us infinitely poppable bubble wrap have delivered the other part of the equation: Mugen PeriPeri. It lets you experience the visceral joy of ripping apart a package again and again and again. And yes, there's a crazy video showing just how awesomely euphoric it is in the most ridiculous way possible.

The infinitely popping bubble wrap I can understand, this, not so much. The tears were a little over the top if you ask me, though.

Wow this is almost as creepy as that robot 12 year old... just the creepy music is replaced with this toe tapping tune. I am not going to lie.... Japan freaks me out.

Does it include that part where the tear strap breaks and you have to mangle the rest of the box just to get at your pop tart? Because, that's the joy for me. It ranks up there with being about as stress relieving as breaking glass.

What's the price for this nifty gadget? I love the exaggeration of joy you can get from ripping this toy apart over and over and over and over... Eternal string-like tears coming from your eyes!
BY THE WAY! WTF?!?! For as much as I want to understand the oriental culture, they are just gazillion years ahead of my grasp of human knowledge... I think I'll let them be, I rather stick to bubble wrap and Ziploc bags instead.
