WowWee Rovio Revving Up for Sept 26 Launch

WowWee's awesome three-wheel webcam-enabled robot will soon be roving to an e-retailer near you! The Rovio, which features a Northstar GPS system and the ability to be controlled through the internet, mobile phones, and even game consoles, can be seen on Amazon and pre-ordered for US$300 on Hammacher Schlemmer. The scheduled release date is Sept. 26. [Crave]

If this thing could handle stairs and be programmed to follow people/pets around, I think I would buy this and add it to my JerseyCam setup. The angle would be a little funky, but it would be cool. And when I leave for work, it could follow my cats.

NEAT!
I've always loved these rollers, but didn't like the last bot utilizing them.
I like this, I like it a lot.
