I am surprised he finally finished his car. I remember reading about this in '03 when I was on the UMR (now Missouri S & T) Solar Car Team. It's pretty much a solo man project (he's gotten help) to build his own solar car. Not an easy thing to do, but still glad he finished it.

Also, solar cars get pulled over all the time, and most are fully licensed vehicles, though some are labeled experimental vehicles, motorbikes, or just regular cars. It's a state by state thing.
