After the 2.1 update I can’t make calls to my landline (home number). Neither can my wife. Both our phones when we make calls to our house phone it just has a BUSY signal. For petes sake. What the heck did they do.

The 2.1 update has absolutely destroyed voice quality and reliability on the Optus network in Australia – since the update I’ve had one-way audio, no-way audio, high levels of static, and completely garbled audio. Everything else seems to be working marginally better, but for use as a phone the 2.1 firmware is horrible… there’s a reason all other handset manufacturers release firmware based on regions (well, there are various reaons).
