iTunes 8 is Here, Bringing Genius Playlists and More
As expected, El Jobso just revealed the new iTunes 8 on stage at the “Let Us Rock” event. It’s a sizable upgrade for iTunes, so let’s take a look at the new features, shall we?

“iTunes Genius is an idiot”
How do I disable it? I can’t seem to find any settings…
Well, I discovered the Genius play list tool about a week ago. Since I found it, all I listen to now are Genius playlists (on my iPhone).
Yes, it does pair songs that I would never have paired, but so far, the listening pleasure has been immense. I have re-discovered so much of my music, that I never think to listen to these days. I have never used any other playlist generation tools, so cannot compare it anything… but I feel no need to. I reckon it’s brilliant!
I’ve had my buds in my ears more over the last week that I have in the last three months. Fortunately, I can listen to music at work! Genius rocks!!
