If a Porsche Shacked Up With an iPod Dock, You'd Get the Eton P'9120

Can you imagine all the little Eton brothers and sisters sitting around the dinner table, when in walks the Eton P'9120? Its speakers and remote are different...not like mummy or daddy's at all. Awwwwkward. Anyway, the Eton P'9120 is a Porsche-designed Eton iPod dock packing an alarm clock and XM satellite radio antenna. And its remote, for some strange reason, includes a flashlight as well. Going for US$600, the P'9120 is not quite as beautiful as the real thing, but as an entry, entry level Porsche, it'll do. Besides, if you don't adopt this poor Eton radio, daddy might figure things out. [Eton via DVICE]

I like the design. The front of this thing reminds me of old movie cameras.

@ALT: Well, it *is* a Porsche... but seriously I do wonder how it sounds. $600 isn't bad at all if the sound quality is great.

The only place I have to put this is the office, but there's no way I'd leave a $600 stereo in my office.

flashlights.. are "they" preparing us for something? I got a F.L. in my iPhone, car, kitchen, now remote control. Soon i will have one on my D!*% !

The remote looks like it's one of those ones that you need all the lights in the room on so you can read the tiny little print on all the identical (and probably poorly laid out) buttons.
I have a BD Remote that came with my PS3 that I HATE because of that.

@ddaq89: The official remote??? I have a problem with the official one as the stop button is where the pause button is and it quits the movie and you have to go back in.

That remote looks like my girlfriend's birth control blister pack. Hopefully the remote is more useful.

Not bad, some points less 'cause the ipod sits in a separate dock instead of the top of the main unit.
